BlowMeCool’s “Menopause To Blame” pulls no punches. It’s
a Menopausal rant in soft-core Rap style that is told from a woman’s
perspective, but should humor men as well.
The song is produced by BlowMeCool Inc., which
manufactures an innovative new mini-fan designed to cool hot flashes while
operating hidden in a women’s hand.
Inspired by his wife, Brian Burge company founder
thoughtfully designed a unique mini-fan for women in the peri-menopause and
menopause stages of life who seek relief from annoying hot flashes – in a more
discreet fashion.
"“Menopause To Blame” is what I hear all the time.
It’s not really my wife, it’s menopause she blames,” says Brian Burge the
song’s lyricist. The chorus speaks about “being back some day” which is what
many women and their partner hope will happen after menopause has past. The
difficulty is that you can’t really know how long and what symptoms will
dominate any woman’s individual experience with menopause.
A woman’s menopause is definitely a phase when men need
to practice their capacity for patience. Brian hopes that “Menopause To Blame”
is received in a positive way by women. The song is intended to help stimulate
discourse between men and women, and to broaden the understanding and
acceptance of menopause as a trying phase in a woman’s life.
